DOUG KLINGER
Head of Short Form/Founding Partner
Doug Klinger (he/they) is a film and music video producer, agent, rep, curator, historian, and watcher living in Altadena, CA. He started his career in 2010, as co-founder of the Internet Music Video Database, where he categorized credits, wrote blog posts, hosted podcasts, and consumed more music videos than anyone on the internet. In 2014, he took his talents to Vimeo where he curated Staff Picks and dove even deeper into music videos, short films, documentaries, and animations. In 2017, Doug pivoted from professional video watcher to professional video maker, and since then has run up over 200 rep and Executive Producer credits for artists like Jay-Z, Billie Eilish, Mitski, Elle Fanning, The Strokes, Bob Marley, Katy Perry, Jack White, 21 Savage, Depeche Mode, Pink, LCD Soundsystem, Run The Jewels, Bebe Rexha, Big Boi, and Paul McCartney. All of these credits can be found on IMVDb.com. Doug is a board member and CFO of the arts education non-profit OMG Everywhere, which hosts free filmmaking workshops for underserved youth in LA. While moving professionally into production, Doug continues to spend much of his leisure time studying videos and sitting on film festival juries, including serving on the SXSW music video jury in 2016. This bio was written by Doug and proofread by his mom.
