Katarzyna Sawicka

is a Warsaw based film director. Using knowledge gained during her studies @ the Polish National Film School in Lodz, and many years of professional experience working as a film editor, she creates compelling stories with strong narrative structure.

She collects lottery tickets from every country she visits (28 & counting) and in spare time tries to figure out quantum physics. Avid poker player.

Work has been screened at numerous festivals around the world including SXSW, Camerimage, Leeds International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Warsaw Film Festival, Raindance, Berlin MVA's, LA MV Festival, and staff picked by Nowness & Vimeo.
