Abiram - Abi - Brizuela (he/him) is the Executive Director of the Unusual Suspects Theatre Company and a multidisciplinary artist whose work straddles theater, film, music, and themed entertainment. Since 2007, Abiram has worked on more than 30 international productions, including the award-winning adaptation of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth and Wartime Stories to Sleep in Peace by Karin Valecillos.
In addition to his creative practice, Abiram has devoted much of his career to supporting artists across multiple disciplines and mediums, embracing diversity, inclusion, and multiculturalism in the arts and entertainment, leading to his most recent role as Director of Artist Community at the Sundance Institute.
